What a day this has been. Up at 4 am to do first round of excercises. Density for Meltdowns are as follows
round 1 33-39
round 2 32-20
round 3 20-28
round 4 45-24
Second Workout
This was accomplished in 2:45 seconds.
Then breakfast of Oatmeal with blueberries. Off to airport. I ordered a salad at the airport and used some of my grilled chicken breast with it..no dressing kind of dry but I was hungry. On the plane I snacked on my homemade trail mix. 2 1/2 hr layover and then landed in Ohio at 7:30..of course there was a delay but that is to be expected these days.
I have been drinking my water but think that I am a tad bit shy of the 3.5 litres today. It was hard to measure all that I consumed.
Arrived at hotel 8 pm local time and really hungry...so I ordered room service of small filet mignon, baked potato ( ate half) and steamed asparagus. While I was waiting for food to arrive I did my second set of workouts.
I have now eaten and am feeling almost human. I have about another 20 minutes before I can do my last round of workouts. I should be able to get this done by 10 pm and then off to bed...losing 3 hours is a bit of a hassle but all in all I should be able to get everything done.
Then we can start all over again tomorrow. Right now my arms are sore, but I imagine tomorrow morning pretty much all of me will be screaming...I will sign off for Day 1 and finish my last workout.
Most likely I will not get a chance to read everyone's blog but I will catch up later this week. I do feel bad that I did not know about daily weight and measurements before I left this morning...So it may take me a couple of days before I can post. I have to find scale and buy a tape measure.
Until tomorrow...Be sure and check out Dax Moy's site for more ways to lose..

Sunday evening, the night before Day 1
I have printed and downloaded the morning portion of the workout. I will get up early and do this part before I leave for the airport. I am blogging now because I have to leave at 6:15 am for a flight to Ohio.
Today in preparation I posted my stats and photo as part of the rules of engagement set forth by Dax's challenge. I have grilled some chicken breasts and steamed a big pot of veggies, I tossed them with a bit of olive oil and 21 seasoning salute. ( this is a bottle of herbs sold at Trader Joe's)
I will eat breakfast, do my workout, and take with me on the plane chicken, veggies, and some fruit. I may even fix some celery and peanut butter ( organic unsalted) again at Trader Joes.
I have to buy a litre bottle of water at airport as I cannot take it with me and get through security. I am also packing in my suitcase a small bottle of Balsamic vinegar...this way I can order salad anywhere and put on my own dressing. Most restaurancts have Olive Oil...
I won't have time to blog until I get to the east coast around 6:45 tomorrow evening. I will get to the hotel and look at what I have to do for the evening round. I think I have a 2 hr layover in Chicago, so that is dead time, usually I try to catch up on business email and phone calls. I will look at the 30 in 30 site to see what new info has posted.
Since Dax's time is about 8 or 9 hours ahead of me, I sometimes get information a bit later than others. I wish all of you participating the very best...
Tonight I made spagetti and it was all ED Friendly.
96% lean ground sirloin.....drain of any additional liquid..seasoned with fresh garlic and herbs
Organic sause... not artificial anything.. seasoned with Sea Salt and herbs
Cooked pasta, made with Artichoke flour...(Gluten Free) purchased at Von's grocery store.
Salad with Olice Oil and vinegar.
Until tomorrow

Sunday June 21, 2009 day before we start 30 in 30
Happy Fathers Day to all. It's 6 am in CA and I have a lot to do today. I should be able to post my pictures and measurements later today...my photographer already left to play a round of golf. Today will be spent prepping some food to take with me on the plane tomorrow. I have already started drinking my water.
I will be making some trail mix, with almonds, sunflower seeds, and a scattering of raisens. I am also planning on taking some of my own seasonings and I will cook up some chicken breasts, this way I can buy a salad in the airport and then add some protein...a bit of a hassle but better than going off ED diet and or being really hungry. Although I am in hotels, I can also get to a grocery store if necessary. I did buy some fruit and will take a few pieces with me to get me through Monday...
I do not know what exercises, Dax has in store for Monday but as soon as I find that out, then I will know what time I have to get up to get that done before my 6:45 am flight...if it is too involved I may have to wait until I reach my destination but would prefer to do it early....then if I am tired I can nap on the plane. I am headed east and will lose 3 hrs time...so sleep is precious. Since I just came back from East coast Friday night, I have tried this weekend to just keep the same schedule, that would explain why I am at the computer at 6 am.
I am not too worried about food etc..as I did this last year for 90 days and traveled all the time. I will admit it took some planning, and logistics were not always easy, but hey, nothing worth acheiving is easy. Once we find out the excercise plan then I will have a better handle on how to plan my week. To be cont........
